Manchester United To ANNOUNCE Pedro Signing Before Saturday

From all indications, out-of-favour Barcelona and Spain winger, Pedro can now be classed as all but a Manchester United player. Following the confirmed departure of British record signing Angel Di Maria to PSG, the Red Devils have reportedly agreed to a deal for his transfer, and have also concluded personal terms with the player. All that’s left, according to normal procedures, is his unveiling at the Old Trafford.

However, Barcelona coach Luis Enrique seems to have other ideas. He has recently insisted that even though an agreement has been reached for the transfer of Pedro, that the player would not be allowed to leave until after the UEFA Super Cup match against Sevilla on August 11th. The Catalans are currently sweating on the fitness of Neymar and Lionel Messi, and would want to use the winger as a lifeline, before allowing him make the trip to United.

United coach Louis van Gaal however does not appear content with the decision. The dutch coach has publicly stated that he wants the player as soon as possible so as to field him for the club’s first EPL game on August 8th. That would surely be a risky gamble, as he really has had no time to settle in his would-be new environment, and get accustomed to his new teammates, new surroundings etc.
