Chelsea In Advance Negotiation To Replace Jose Mourinho

As the English Premier League progresses and clubs are starting to see what the season promises while their managers are starting to realize that their jobs are not as safe as they think it will be just as is the case with Liverpool’s Brendan Rodgers, speculations keep mounting over the future and positions of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and Fulham manager Kit Symons.

Despite the fact that Chelsea recently released a statement to back up manager Jose Mourinho, he is no fool and is clearly aware that the Blues have a distinct plan of replacing him if things keep going as they are and nothing changes with the team’s performance in the English Premier League.

In fact, to add further speed to Mourinho’s fears, Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is being widely touted as the one to replace Mourinho at the Stamford Bridge when he is sacked. He will apparently cost Chelsea about £15 million while Chelsea will also have to pay off Mourinho with about £37 million if they sack the Portuguese manager.

Kit Symons has also been under pressure at Fulham and he is afraid of being sent away very soon to be replaced by Hull City manager Steve Bruce. In fact, he has clearly been told that if results do not improve at Fulham by february next year. Steve Bruce has however described these rumors as “rubbish journalism.”
