Arsenal Wins Race To Sign £28m Star Plus Ramsey & Ospina Latest Injury Update

Wenger finally willing to spend big on Bundesliga star.

Arsenal are ready to break their bank in order to get a highly-priced Winter signing in Hakan Calhanoglu of Bayer Leverkusen. The playmaker is widely regarded as one of the best youngsters in Europe’s elite leagues, and he has caught the eyes of many big clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona and Milan. The 21 year-old is said to be a set-pieces specialist, and his ability in the heart of the midfield has seen him earn comparisons with Mesut Ozil.

The Turkey international arrived Leverkusen last Summer and is already their most-valuable player. Arsenal are said to be in private talks with his management and will be looking at luring him to the Emirates for around 30 million Pounds. His current contract with the German club is to expire come 2019.

Aaron Ramsey poised to return

Ramsey who was substituted yesterday in the win against Bayern Munich is in line to play this weekend when the gunners take on Everton in the premier league. Ramsey was initially thought to be out for three weeks but reports from the Emirates this afternoon has debunked such claims.

With Ramsey back, Arsenal will only be without the likes of Wilshere, Rosicky and Welbeck as Ospina is also in line to return versus Everton this weekend.
