Official – Chelsea Confirms 6ft 0″ Tall Star Has Transfer Deal Ahead Of January Window

Chelsea midfielder John Swift has seen his loan spell with Championship side Brentford extended until January 2016 after a successful initial one-month deal as he has performed beyond the club’s expectations and the club have seen the need to increase his time in the side and this statement was released via the club’s official website.

This deal was brought about with the fact that since the player’s loan spell started with Brentford, only Alan Judge has played more passes per 90 minutes for Brentford in the Championship than midfielder John Swift and this is worth noticing by anyone even in the English Premiership.

Swift has created seven chances for the Bees since his loan move and has been immensely successful in driving forward from midfield, scoring one goal in four appearances for the side and winning 83% of his take-ons so far this season.

Brentford have enjoyed a decent run of form since Swift moved to Griffin Park and obviously this has a lot to do with the midfielder’s presence at the club and whether it is by luck or just a good run of form, the player has to remain at the club.

Maybe Chelsea made a serious mistake with granting the Championship side another spell with the player as the Stamford Bridge based club presently need a midfielder of class who can do exactly what Swift is doing for Brentford at the club, if not, they might not be able to find a solution to their acute lack of winning and goals scoring at Chelsea.
