Club Gets Boost In Chase For £50m Rated Star, Available For Cheap

Arsenal have been incredible this season and it is starting to look like the Gunners will be able to contend for the much eluded English Premier League title this season. However, the team has suffered the lack of a good striker in the squad and have had to make do with Theo Walcott and Oliver Giroud as strikers especially in the absence of England international striker Danny Welbeck.

Recent reports are now suggesting that the Gunners are waiting to pounce for Real Madrid frustrated striker Karim Benzema.

The Mirror is making claims that Real president Florentino Perez will let the France international leave the Bernabue and the same report claims that Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski is already being lined up as a replacement if Benzema is sold.

Arsenal were seriously after the player in the summer transfer window but could not complete the deal as the player’s club were not willing to let him go then but since the player has become frustrated with life at the Bernabeu due to not being used by the manager Rafa Benitez, the player may be ready to leave and Madrid may also be ready to sell so they could likely offer him to the North London club for a transfer.

Arsene Wenger was willing to spend £50m to get Benzema in the summer transfer window but it is not sure how much the player will go for at the moment. However, considering the scandal he has been involved him, he is likely to be available for cheap. Benzema complains about his time on the said it is starting to look like everytime the electronic board comes up,  the number 9 is automatically there and he said, “It’s true that the electronic board always shows the No.9,” “Ask Benitez why that is.” Whether Wenger will get the hint remains to be seen.
