Club Officials Fly In As Chelsea Is To Complete €30m Transfer Of Europa League Winner

Juventus are set to table a bid for Chelsea midfielder Oscar and have sent a club representative to hold talks with the London outfit. According to reports from Italy, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is reportedly in London to hold discussions with Chelsea over a potential deal for Oscar at the end of the season.

The Serie A champions have reportedly keeping tabs on Oscar for as far last season and they believe they’ve a great chance now to lure him away from Stamford Bridge as a result of Chelsea’s poor premier league season. Chelsea have made an abysmal start to the Premier League season, with the reigning premier league champions lying 16th in the league having lost seven of their opening 12 games with the most recent loss coming away at Stoke City.

A number of Chelsea players have under-performed this season with Oscar not being the exception, and looking at their current fortunes The Chelsea management is set to carry out a massive squad overhaul which would see the underperforming players out of the club. Oscar has scored just two goals in all competitions for Chelsea, and has failed to register any assist so far this term.

Due to a considerable drop in form, Oscar’s market value has dropped as well, and Turrosport reckons that the deal could happen for around €30m. Chelsea will also hold talks with Juventus officials to discuss the future of Juan Cuadrado, who make his loan to Juventus permanent following a terrible time at Chelsea.

Although Oscar remains a great player, Jose Mourinho could be looking to cash in on him, as the Portuguese plans a massive squad overhaul next summer with rumors of a move for Cristiano Ronaldo going around.
