Liverpool Legend Becomes an UNEXPECTED Fan of Arsene Wenger, Manager Says: “We’ll Win the Trophy for Our Fans”

Arsenal will end the year as league leaders after Leceister failed to secure a win over Manchester City. It was Arsenal’s 36th win from the 56th games they’ve played in all competitions in 2015. Gunners also won their record 12th FA Cup, and Community Shield in the process.

Arsene Wenger believes it is due to the sides improvement as a mature team that has led to their success this year.

Speaking to the club’s official Wenger said, “From January 1 to December 31 we were consistent and have improved our results. The team has grown in stature, is more mature, more reliable and we won the FA Cup and the Community Shield. We are in a strong position in the Premier League so hopefully 2016 will be better.”

Even Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, wants to see Arsene Wenger to lift a Premier League trophy next year.

“We are mature enough and we have the requested quality to fight and compete. The most important thing is to feel, at the end of the season, that we have given absolutely everything to be successful. After that, if somebody has been better than us, we will accept it, but we want to fight to show that we have a chance.”

“The public opinion is not always stable, it changes a lot. It is always linked with the final result. We have to rise above that and show that we can deal with it. I believe we have to be guided by playing better football and being a real team in every game and show that we can be competitive.”

In the 19 Premier League games played so far, Arsenal has won 12, drawn 3 and lost 4. Their first fixture of 2016 is against Newcastle United. They will also face, Liverpool and Stoke away, and Chelsea at home in January. With transfer window about to open in January, Gunners are hopeful the team will gain the necessary strengthening needed to make them stronger for the second half of the title race.
