Roman Abramovich Personally Involved in Eden Hazard Replacement, £20m Offered for Real Madrid and Barcelona Target

Daily Star are exclusively reporting that Chelsea are interested in Leicester City sensation Riyad Mahrez.

The report claims that the Blues are planning a £20m swoop for the player who has surprised everyone with his form this season.

The Algerian international has been one of the top performers in Premier League and has scored 13 goals and provided seven assists for the Foxes in 21 league appearances.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is said to be a big fan of the player and is keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

The Blues also sees him as a potential replacement of Eden Hazard, who seemed destined to leave the club in a big-money move in the summer. PSG and Real Madrid are leading the pursuit to sign the Belgian playmaker at the moment.

Mahrez arrived in England from French minnows Le Havre for less than£1m, a couple of years ago and his meteoric rise this season has been nothing short of spectacular.

He has also attracted the attentions of La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, and there will be plenty of clubs interested in his services in summer.
