Report – Liverpool to Sign Chelsea Star Within Days in a Shocking Transfer

According to reports, Chelsea are ready to allow Ramires to leave the Stamford Bridge during this transfer window in a bid to free up transfer fees.

Despite being an important player of the Blue’s first-team since signing for the club in 2010, the 52 cap midfielder has found opportunities difficult to come by in the current season- 2015/16.

Chelsea paid approximately £18 million when securing the 28-year-old’s service from Benfica, and ever since he signed for the club in 2010, he has been a popular figure at the west London club due to his powerhouse performances.

Ramires has featured in just 12 of Chelsea’s 22 league fixtures this season, completing 90 minutes on a mere three occasions.

Although his availability has attracted interest from European elite clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, according to latest rumors, midfielder could end up at Anfield.

Ramires has won a total of five major title with Chelsea and scored important goals on equally important occasions, while also claiming the club’s Goal of the Season on two occasion.

The 28-year-old signed a new four-year deal in October, but that hasn’t deterred other clubs from showing interest in him and now Chelsea looks very ready to listen.

Known for his energetic, box-to-box style of play, the Brazilian midfielder has netted 37 goals for the Stamford Bridge club since in all completions. Up until now, he has scored two Premier League goals this season, which already reflects his tally from the previous season.

This season, the experienced box-to-box midfielder’s form has been far from his best. Ramires has only managed to win 32 percent of his duels this term – the poorest record in the entire squad, and a 14 percent dip on 2014/15 season.

In his most recent league appearance – a 12 minute stint against Manchester United – the Brazil international competed just four of his eight attempted passes.

According to reports,  Chelsea are on a rebuilding programme and any money brought to the club for Ramire’s sale would be invested in the playing squad, with the Blue’s considering attacking reinforcements in efforts to get their season back on track.
