Wojciech Szczęsny back to arsenal

Arsenal star shocks: “I want Leicester City to win the title”, angry fans react on Twitter

Wojciech Szczesny: I support Arsenal but I want Leicester to win the League title.

Arsenal are currently languishing in third place in the table and are now unlikely to be able to overhaul Leicester’s advantage following their 3-3 draw with West Ham on Saturday.

Leicester, who beat Sunderland 2-0 secured three points on Sunday to ensure they secure their top spot in the table, are likely to win the Premier League this season with five games to play and currently have 72 points.

And Wojciech Szczesny has jeopardized the anger of Arsenal fans by confessing he wants Leicester City to win the Premier League this season – even though he is still a Gunners player. The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Roma after Petr Cech’s arrival at the Emirates last summer cast his long-term future into doubt.

Speaking to Sky Italia, Szczesny said: ”No one in football can explain the Leicester miracle. Even though I support Arsenal in the Premier League, I’d like to see Ranieri’s side win it. They’re an example and an inspiration to everyone. It’s exciting to watch them play.”

Leicester forward Jamie Vardy nettle two goals against Sunderland on Sunday afternoon to edge the Foxes ever closer to the prize.

The Polish stopper, who has been with the Gunners since the age of 15, also hinted that he is willing to extend his spell in Italy but is adamant the two clubs will decide his future.

He explained: “Everyone knows I’m really happy here. I’d like to be able to tell you about my future, but I don’t know what it holds for me. I’ve expressed my intentions to the two clubs and now it’s up to them.”

These two Arsenal forwards confirms need for striker.

Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck have both brought relative success on the Gunners attacking line alongside the likes of Alex Iwobi, and Mesut Ozil.

And once again, the forwards are proving essential to the Gunner as they are both supporting the idea that Arsene Wenger should try his level best to bring in a new name to boost the club’s attacking line.

Although Welbeck has not been specific on who the Gunners should bring, Sanchez has called on the north London club to sign Juventus striker Alvaro Morata.

According to our sources, Wenger should make a move and find a striker with great poaching skills who will be able to help Arsenal reclaim their lost glory.

And according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Juventus forward Morata is the Chilean’s ideal choice to come in and partner him in Arsenal’s front-line.

The same report claims that Sanchez is willing to extend his contract at Arsenal if the Gunners bring in Morata this summer.
