Revealed – Manchester Utd’s Best Player In Training – Not RVP Or Rooney

After Manchester United’s devastating finish last season, many fans and pundits believed that the decline of an empire was nigh. How could a club who couldn’t offer continental action land top-notch players? But all these worries melted away when few days to the summer transfer window, the Old Trafford outfit unveiled a marquee signing in Angel Di Maria. While many argued that Manchester United was able to get the Argentine because he had fallen out of favour with hisformer employers and the other potential buyer PSG were already constrained by the Financial Fair-play investigations, what people with this line of thought fail to realise is that Di Maria could choose to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu and slug it out with Real Madrid’s summer arrivals.

Anyway the winger has since taken the English Premiership by storm when he was signed for a British transfer fee of about £60m. He hit the ground running and has now scored 3 times for the Red Devils amidst several assists. You’d know he is a worthy signing when his exploits won him the Player of the Month award at Old Trafford in his first month.

However, the Argentine’s brilliance and dedication does not end with his activities on the pitch, at least according to Manchester United youngster Andreas Periera who has revealed that Di Maria also exudes brilliance during training sessions.

Periera while speaking with the club’s official website named the Argentine as the club’s best trainer and also listed another summer arrival Ander Herrera in the same category. Periera disclosed that;

‘Everyone’s been really good but the best in training, for me, is Angel Di Maria. He’s very good in training as well as in matches. I also admire Ander Herrera for the way he plays in my position but also the way he speaks to other players’

This revelation will bring smiles to the faces of thousands of Old Trafford faithful who had been hoping that their big money transfer won’t become a huge flop. Although quite unconvincing in his debut, the winger came back strong against the Queen Park Ranger’s scoring a goal and setting up another, in a display that inspired the Red Devils to their first win of this season. Ever since then Angel Di Maria had made himself the architect of Manchester United’s attack partnering with the very dynamic Ander Herrera.

The enviable training routine that Angel Di Maria has imbibed will go a long way to influence several of the upcoming stars at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground to put up serious training attitude which will in turn improve the team’s performances in subsequent matches.
