ALMOST DONE – Chelsea To Table £32m For Star, Player Ready To Play For Mourinho

That Chelsea are interested in Everton’s young central defender John Stone is no longer news and the Jose Mourinho has even gone on record to admit that a bid was made for the player earlier but it was rejected. He also revealed that Chelsea would return with a much improved offer for the 21-year old.

Apparently, it appears to be a matter of time till Everton accept an offer for their player. Rumours claim that theu are holding out for an offer above £30 million which will see Chelsea go as high as breaking the £32 million record after their reported £20 million bid was rejected. Futhermore, as the young defender’s value pushes into outlandish regions, a new rumour has started making the rounds.

Metro has launched a different angle and seem to suggest that the player has had his head turned and is definitely interested in a move although he is not expected to take matters into his hands as Raheem Sterling employed defective PR tactics to force a move away from Liverpool to Manchester City.

John Stones wants to be given the chance to discuss the possibility of moving to Chelsea with the Premier League champions ready to make a fresh bid to take the center half to Stamford Bridge.

Sources close to the player say the Everton defender would relish the chance to play Champions League football but is unlikely to create trouble in the way Raheem Sterling did to force a move from Liverpool.

But the fact that he is now unsettled will give way for Chelsea’s second £26 million bid, expected imminently.

If this report turns out to be true, it would just be a matter of time before Chelsea announce the capture of their man.
