“He’s In The Process” LVG Confirms SURPRISE Signing On The Way, But Not A Striker

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal shocked the whole world when he dropped hints about Manchester United signing a striker, he said “He’s in the process,” Van Gaal said. “It’s not the striker that the media has written about. You have to wait and see. The transfer period is open until 31 August. You have to wait.” This statement caused a great stir in the footballing community as to who the surprise striker might be.

Rumours suggested that the surprise striker might be Juventus striker Llorente, some also stated that it could be PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Louis Van Gaal speaking after Manchester United 3-1 win over San Jose Earthquakes has shocked the media further by stating that his surprise signing is not a striker.

He said “I don’t know if I want to buy a striker. I have read in the media that a striker is the surprise. No, that I have not said. You are saying that, because my answer is like that. No, I mean something else.”

With Louis Van Gaal limited in his striking options as the Premier League opener draws closer, many would expect the surprise signing to be a striker. The Dutchman will be satisfied with his additions to the midfield which leaves  the defence and striking positions needed to be re-enforced and maybe the goalkeeping position too in the event that goalkeeper David De Gea leaves. Manchester United have been very active in the transfer window and are expected to bring in two or three more players into the club before the transfer window slams shut. The big question on everyone’s lips is who this mystery signing might be, in due time we shall all find out and I reckon we are all in for a big shock.
