Arsene Wenger Reveals Transfer Plans for the Deadline Day

With roughly 24 hours to go on the January transfer window, many clubs may be looking to step up their race to sign some players to improve their squads.

On the other side, clubs such as Arsenal look so satisfied with their current squad after making one major signing during the transfer period and they are likely not to add any player for now.

Speaking at the pre-match conference on Friday, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger talked down the chances of the Gunners bringing in a new player this transfer window.

When asked if he would be signing any more player, Wenger said: “No, not at the moment.”

We have 23 players in training, and plus two is 25, so unless people go out we are not on the verge of bringing anybody in,” he added.

Up until now, Mathieu Debuchy seems likely to be the player to leave before the window shuts with a good number of other players still linked to the Emirates club.
