Shock: Man Utd to Hijack Chelsea Target Antoine Griezmann, Diego Simeone Confirms Player Could Leave La Liga

Man Utd have joined Premier League rivals Chelsea in the pursuit of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.

The French international is one of the most sought-after talents in European football and major European clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have all expressed their interest in the 24-year-old.

Recently, Atletico coach Diego Simeone admitted that the La Liga club would find them helpless in keeping their star at Vicente Calderon amidst interests from some of the major European clubs.

“The sporting directors have been speaking to him directly, with those close to him, in order to work out what’s best for him and the club,” said Simeone.

“Of course, he’s a very important player for us, but we can’t hold him here with chains.”
