Welcome To Anfield – Striker With 42 Goals In 102 Games Set To Join Liverpool

Just a few hours after he was confirmed as the manager of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has drawn a transfer list and has made Sassuolo’s striker Domenico Berardi as one of his prime target, this is according to Calciomercato.

Sequel to the sack of Brendan Rodger last Sunday, the former Borrussia Dortmund coach was announced as the Kop’s coach last Thursday but was officially unveiled in the morning of Friday. He has fully taken charge of the managerial position.

It is understood that Klopp has been an admirer of the striker from his days at Borrussia Dortmund but the player was co-owned by Juventus which made it difficult for Klopp to sign him. Nonetheless, now seems the right time for Klopp to sign the youngster.

In the June of 2015, it was officially reported that the player wasn’t co-owned by Juventus , hence, Sassuolo taking complete charge of the player. But as per the report, the Old lady can still buy back the player in 2016, which will put Klopp on his toes to quickly sign the player.

Berardi, 21, scored 15 goals in 32 appearances for club last season and has averaged a goal per two games for the Italian outfit for two seasons.

Klopp is expected to rebuild the Liverpool squad and that will be made possible with the signing of the players he believes will fit his ideology and do away with those who will be surpluses.
