Welcome To London, Arsenal & Chelsea Target Arrives To Move To London In The Winter – But To Which Club?

Various reports making the rounds in the Brazilian media claims Alexandre Pato could become a West Ham player when the transfer market re-opens in the January of 2016.

The former AC Milan forward has been in prolific form this season for Sao Paulo this season. Pato, 26, has scored 26 goals in all competition for club. The Brazilian has been on loan with Corinthian since last season.

His blistering form has seen several clubs in the Premier League rooting for his signature. During the summer, it was reported that Arsenal and Chelsea were keenly interested in his services but it not appears that the best place for him is still in London but with the Hammers.

It wouldn’t be wise for Pato to move to Chelsea or Arsenal. This is not to berate him but at West Ham, he may be the most exposed player in their rank and be given the opportunity to play regularly. However, Arsenal and Chelsea already have clusters of star players and Pato may not be able to live up to expectation in a top four Premier League club following his injury vulnerability.

Pato moved from AC Milan to Corinthians in a 15 million euros deal but he is in the final months of his loan deal with Sao Paulo and is looking to return to the biggest stage of club football which is in Europe.

The President of Corinthians Roberto de Andrade has confirmed that they will sell Pato than keep him at the club. Which is tantamount to the player moving away for the club in the winter?
