What were Liverpool FC thinking about with this Gerrard picture?

The official Twitter feed for Liverpool FC posted up some pictures of their players this afternoon. Jordan Ibe (who has played 63 minutes of first team football for Liverpool in all competitions) “in the spotlight”. Then there was “our Brazilian magician” for Philippe Coutinho. But then the strangest of the lot, “Captain fantastic” showing Steven Gerrard crawling over some hills with a Liverpool flag on his back.

They are the works of a supporter who happens to have an interest in graphic design. A bit of research wouldn’t go a miss at times gents!

What are you all on about? It is showing Gerrard as a soldier leading the line! It is suppose to represent going in to battle!
You people need to get over it and write anything with some soul! Oh thats right… You don’t have any!

I don’t see a problem with it. I had an idea similar to this years ago for Liverpool FC. It reminds me of those images of soldiers planting down their country’s flag in places they have just conquered.

Don’t see a problem in having one of future stars in a picture either. So what if he’s only played “63 minutes”?

Can’t see why anyone would moan about the club putting the 3 different types of player we have in the “spotlight” – The experienced first-team player (Stevie), young players with enough talent to play in the first team (Coutinho) and the even young players who are potentially the future of the club (Ibe).

Do you just like to complain a lot?

So they win the league and still can’t take their minds off LFC. What miserable lives they lead.

These pictures have nothing to do with Liverpool FC. They justed posted these pictures that had been made by a fan, which had impressed club and players. Some players even retweeted the pics because they were so impressed.

i’m sure the 24 year old graphic designer Dian Qamajaya who designed the pictures off his own back is really happy with you slagging it off without knowing anything about the this picture and other ones he has done of not just the first team but many of the younger club players.

Why do journalists never research anything amymore ?

    Stupid article.
It represents him as the leader dragging the club onward as any good captain going into battle does.
    You are an idiot sir
