Done Deal – Chelsea To ANNOUNCE “New Messi” Set To Sign For Chelsea

At just 18, Andrija Zivkovic, has already earned his first full international cap for Serbia, and no wonder a club like Chelsea are after his signature. Zivkovic, who plays for Partizan Belgrade as a midfielder, is being compared to Barcelona star, Lionel Messi in terms of playing style.

According to Sport Witness, the 18-year old is on the radar of the current EPL champions, and could be set for a move this summer if all goes according to plan. According to the report, Chelsea will immediately loan out the player to Samdoria after signing him—this, of course, is partly due to work permit issue. Zivkovic, who has only represented his country on two occasions, and does not automatically qualify for a work permit unless an application is made.

The fact that he does not qualify for a work permit means he has to be sent out on loan, and Sampdoria seems to be on the wings. Sending him out on loan to Serie A, will not only help him to gain some more game time, it will also help him with his work permit issue. Several clubs have towed this line of action to secure a work permit for their players.

Chelsea have a lot of players out on loan; a policy that seems to favour the Blues when it comes to bringing players through. No official announcement has been made in the case of signing Zivkovic, we may have to be on the look out as the transfer window gets busier by the day.
