Petr Cech Set For Arsenal Medical, Will Earn £100,000-A-Week, Announce On Monday

According to reports from Czech Republic, Petr Cech is set to fly yo London today in order to complete his medical with Arsenal and should he successfully pass the medical, Arsenal and Chelsea are both likely to announce a deal on Monday morning.

Cech, 33, has reportedly agreed terms on a three years contract with Arsenal and will be earning 100,000 a week with the gunners which is lower than what he could have received if he had chosen Manchester United or PSG.

Jose Mourinho made it clear he doesn’t want to sell the player to a direct rival but the player is having his way as a result of his cordial relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

He will be expected to be Arsenal’s first choice goalkeeper and if reports are anything to go by, Arsenal will be selling David Ospina who joined the club last summer from French side Nice in order to create space for the Chelsea legend.

Szczesny who Ospina ousted from the first team last season will be the most beneficiary of this deal as he will not only have a world class goalkeeper in Petr Cech to learn from, he will also be coached by Petr Cech’s highly rated coach who is reportedly coming to Arsenal with Cech.
