TRULY WORLD CLASS Striker Hints At Arsenal Move, Wenger Likes Him, £28m Could Be Done

In a crazy world where only a sneeze is enough to attract all kinds of speculations about a player’s future, one cannot but read meanings into a recent tweet, which was favourited by Lyon striker, Alexandre Lacazette.

It turns out that the Lyon striker, who is consistently being linked with a move to a number of clubs in the English Premier League, favourited a tweet said to have been posted by an Arsenal fan. In the tweet, an Arsenal fan quoted a French website, which wrote that Arsene Wenger is a big fan of the player, and is keen to bring him to the Emirates this summer.

The player is believed to be nearing a £28million move that will see him move to the Emirates before the current transfer window closes by the end of next month, according to the Metro.

Perhaps, the player knows something most of us do not know, but all Gunners have a right to be excited by a player whose goal-scoring ability is never in doubt, especially when one considers his contributions to his team in the last Ligue 1 season in France. Lacazette led the log last season by scoring 27 goals for Lyon. His contribution to his team has continued to attract a host of clubs in the EPL, including the Gunners, who see him as a player to help bring out the best in Olivier Giroud.

Lyon are not against selling the player, provided the Gunners or any other club interested in his signature is able to come up with the right fee.
