Confirmed – £9m Rated £55,000-A-Week Midfielder Will Play For Chelsea Next Season

Mark Hughes says Stoke City may struggle to take Victor Moses back to the club as he is currently in Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho’s plans. Moses, who joined Chelsea from Wigan in 2012, has been sent out for season-long loans at Liverpool and Stoke during the two years Mourinho has been back at Stamford Bridge.

Moses spent last season on loan at Stoke City but, following conversations with Chelsea, Hughes now expects him to be given his chance unless Jose Mourinho goes back into the transfer market.

“I think Chelsea have a view on Victor,” Hughes said. “What they’re thinking, we believe, is that they would possibly like to keep him. If they go into the market again that could change that idea. “Victor obviously came to us last year and did exceptionally well for us. There were a couple of injuries that hampered him unfortunately but he showed enough in his time with us that it made Chelsea very aware of the talent they have and what Victor could offer”. Huges said.

Moses in his loan spell at Stoke City, scored 3 goal in all competitions, though his season was hampered with an eight weeks thigh injury which he suffered in November 2014.
