Chelsea To ANNOUNCE Signing Of €30m Arsenal Target Tomorrow, Will Earn £65,000-A-Week

Chelsea are moving ever closer to finally sealing a deal for Filipe Luis’ replacement, after the Brazilian defender made a return to Atletico Madrid this summer. Luis struggled to find his feet in English football and Blues boss Jose Mourinho decided to let him leave.

However, the Premier League champions earmarked a replacement and reports from several sources have indicated Augsburg’s left-back Baba Rahman will be a Chelsea player imminently. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio even claimed the deal is already done, as both clubs have finally found an agreement on a transfer fee.

It has now been reported by ESPN that Baba is edging closer to a Stamford Bridge move after it emerged the young Ghanaian has been training away from his team-mates at the Bundesliga side.

Chelsea and Augsburg have been haggling over a fee for the transfer of the player as Baba’s agent Sascha Empasher had claimed the player has agreed personal terms already, and only the clubs need to find an agreement.

After all the hassles, the deal looks as though it has been finally sealed with the highly-rated left-back made to train separately.

ESPN clarifies that Baba was present at Augsburg’s training ground but completed a training session on his own on Tuesday in order not to pick up any injury – which may hinder or stall his imminent transfer to Chelsea.

This deal will surely mean great business by Baba’s club, as they signed him only last summer from second division side Greuther Furth for €2.5m. The above named source also postulates Chelsea agreed a fee in the region of €30m for the Ghana international defender, who will sign a five-year deal at the Premier League club.
