Personal Terms Agreed, Chelsea To ANNOUNCE Transfer Of £23.3m Star

Reports emerging from Italian source Calcio Mercato have it that Chelsea are set to allow Colombian attacker Juan Cuadrado leave on loan with  Serie A champions Juventus mooted as a possible destination.

With less than two weeks left before the summer transfer window shuts, clubs around the world are frantically sealing deals as they seek to bolster their squads ahead of the new campaign. After the drubbing Chelsea received at the Etihad Stadium last Sunday, it became imperative that the Blues seek reinforcements to strenghten their squad.

The arrival of Pedro from Barcelona was heralded by fans as a fantastic move by the club but his signing ultimately means the departure of some players. Atop that list of potential departures is Juan Cuadrado who has failed to impress for Chelsea after completing a £23 million move from Serie A side Fiorentina that involved Mohammed Salah going in the opposite direction.

The 27-year old has struggled since sealing a move to Stamford Bridge and Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho has used him sparingly as he featured just 12 times in the Premier League last term with most of them coming from the bench. A return to Italy has been suggested as the best option to restart his career with Juventus credited with an interest. The report however states that the Old Lady turned their interest to the Colombian after their attempts to lure German attacker Julian Draxler from Schalke 04 failed.

The Old Lady are looking to add reinforcements to their squad after the departures of Arturo Vidal to Bayern Munich and Andrea Pirlo to New York City FC in the USA.
