Not Benzema – £165,000-A-Week Star To Undergo Arsenal Medical

According to various reports this afternoon, it seems Arsenal will be announcing the signing of PSG’s Edinson Cavani in a matter of days. According to the reports, PSG has decided to sign Manchester United and Manchester City target Kevin De Bruyne and have had a bid of 80 million accepted for the player.

Kevin De Bruyne was initially said to be on his way to Manchester with either City or United the destination but it appears PSG has moved quickly to beat the English duo to the signing of the player. The report if true means PSG has signed a replacement for Cavani and Arsenal can then complete the signing of the player.

Cavani who was linked to Arsenal before moving to PSG is the sort of striker Arsenal can do with right now. He is an obvious upgrade to Giroud. Although he is not going to come cheap, but Arsenal shouldn’t be looking for a cheap striker if they want to win the title.

Arsenal are already said to be ready to pay the £35 million PSG are demanding for the player. Other reports in the English media are already claiming Arsenal have reached an agreement with the player and he will undergo a medical this week, all thats is left seems to be PSG to get in a replacement which is now imminent.
