After £200,000-A-Week Is Made, Manchester United To Announce Transfer Of Spaniard

Various reports in the media this afternoon have it that Manchester United and Real Madrid have reached an agreement to complete the transfer of David De Gea to Real Madrid.

According to the reports, Real Madrid tabled an undisclosed bid to United this morning which was accepted by the Red Devils and the Spaniard will now be completing a move back to Spain.

De Gea had reportedly rejected a new contract offer from United said to be worth £200,000 a week preferring instead to move to Real Madrid.

Should the reports be true, it will be bad news to United fans who were beginning to hope their club will be able to retain the Spaniard at the club for at least one more year.

As a replacement, there have been musing that United will sign Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris which in it own won’t be a bad signing. Lloris is definitely a world class goalkeeper and will be a worthy replacement for De Gea..
