John Terry Benched Again, Mourinho To Play A Surprise Line Up Against Villa

Chelsea FC have been nothing short of terrible to say the least in their defence of their hard-earned English Premier League title which they won last season under manager Jose Mourinho.

The team find themselves 16th on the English Premiership table at the moment and fans are already wondering if their fortunes will change or if they will be stuck in this quagmire for longer than they ever thought possible.

It is quite obvious already at this point that the Blues may not be able to hold on to their crown and will have to relinquish the title to another English League team but fans will also be hoping they can at least make the top four.

The last match the Blues played in the English Premier League saw them falling facedown in front of their home fans as they lost 3-1 to Southampton at home and therefore collapsed the Stamford Bridge again this season.

They however have a chance to redeem this fast growing terrible image as they battle Aston Villa this weekend and will be hoping to start their struggle towards returning to their winning ways if they can trump Villa.

The Blues however will be able to rely on the fact that Villa are also struggling at the moment and it might be a bit easier to defeat them if they can at least get their line-up right.

Here is therefore the best they can line-up and hope to win with this weekend  against Aston Villa –

Goalkeeper

Chelsea may have conceded a lot of goals this but it is clear that their goalkeeper, Asmir Begovic has not done so badly and given that he is second choice goalkeeper and the Blues have no other choice but to use him for now, he should return in the posts for Chelsea.

Defence

The Chelsea backline have been just spineless this season and cannot seem to hold together, therefore it will be best to pair Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma and just bench ageing Terry who obviously has nothing left to offer. And since the manager has not given Djilobodji a run in the team, it will be foolhardy to thrust him in against Villa, but he might be good for the bench.

Out of form Branislav Ivanovic will thankfully not be playing due to injury and this could just be the key to Chelsea’s victory. Cesar Azpilicueta will have to move to his natural right-back position while Abdul Baba. Rahman should be handed his first start in the Premier League at left-back.

Midfield

Nemanja Matic will hopefully have resolved his clash with the manager and should be starting beside Cesc Fabregas in the middle with Oscar in front of them at attcking midfield behind the main striker. Willian should start on the wings and maybe Eden Hazard who seems to be out of sorts at the moment but could still be pivotal in earning a win.

Pedro should start on the bench and come in for either of the two later.

Attack

Diego Costa should start for Chelsea as he makes his return, because even though he might not score, he knows how to create the problems up front and Loic Remy should start on the bench for Chelsea.

Hopefully, Chelsea can get a win out of this encounter and start their season already.
