Three Likely Candidates To Replace Jose Mourinho

Not in his wildest dream would Jose Mourinho have envisaged the kind of terribleness in form that Chelsea are experiencing at the moment.

After starting the season slowly, the Blues have apparently gone slower and are currently in crisis. Their sorrow was further compounded over the weekend by West Ham when they thumped Chelsea 2-1 at Upton Park and the result pushed Chelsea back to the final quarter of the League table.

There is no solution for Abramovich at the moment than appointing an interim “Saviour” in the while. Despite passing a vote of confidence on the Portuguese tactician,  Mourinho might be dismissed sooner than later to avoid further capitulation.

In the match against the Hammers last weekend, Mourinho in his typical demeanour, showed lack of Sportsmanship as he was sent to the stands when he challenged the decision of Jon Moss who correctly red-carded Matic.

The board can look from within for an interim solution we stated in the mould of Michel Emenalo the technical director of Chelsea, assistant first team coach Steve Holland and former manager and friend of Abramovich Avram Grant.

Grant was former manager of Chelsea and is very familiar with the ideology of Chelsea and some of the players. Although he’s currently coaching the Ghanaian national team, he could call to save Chelsea’s dying season. Grant took over from Mourinho in 2007 and won the Premier League and led the Blues to the Champions League even though he never won it.

As for Emenalo and Holland they are both connected to the team at the moment. One of them would certainly take over if Mourinho is showed the exit door.

The fixture for Chelsea at the moment isn’t looking too good. They will face Stoke City in the Capital One cup and face Liverpool in the Premier League next weekend.
