Confirmed By Skysports- Jose Mourinho To Be Sacked

In a season filled with twists and turns, Sky Sports are reporting that Jose Mourinho will be sacked should he fail to win at Liverpool. Should he be sacked, he would become the third casualty of managers sacked in the Premier League this season. He will be following Brendan Rodgers and Tim Sherwood out of a job.

Mourinho who tagged himself the “Happy One” led Chelsea to the league title last season and it was expected that Chelsea would mount a formidable defense of their title this season and go one better this season. Alas, none of the expectations has panned out.

After 10 games this season, Chelsea find themselves 15th on the league table and are not assured of making it out of the group stage in the champions league. What had started out as a brilliant campaign has turned into a nightmare and Mourinho appears to be losing the plot. His behavior has also put the club into the spotlight and is gradually breeding dissent within the squad.

Clashing with Team doctor Eva Carneiro, blaming match officials for decisions not going his way and also blaming his players has provided entertainment for football fans the world over  but has not endeared Mourinho to the club hierarchy. Owner Abramovich is already rumored to be seeking a replacement and the Liverpool match is seen a s the last saving grace for Mourinho. The team just might contrive to lose the match against Liverpool so as to see the back of the “Happy One”.
