Welcome To Old Trafford – Manchester United Plan Signing Of £49m Rated Striker

Manchester United have been keen on signing Tottenham Hotspur’s super striker Harry Kane and are not ready to take ‘NO’ for an answer as they are reportedly planning to pay more than £49 million to get the deal done according to reports The Sun.

The 22-year-old has been a long-term target for the Old Trafford based club and has remained one of United manager Louis van Gaal’s priority signing targets in the summer transfer window and the deal was almost completed but for some reasons known to the two clubs and maybe that is one reason why the player has not been so fantastic for Tottenham this season.

Manchester United have been suffering for lack of good goalscorers this season as they have only Anthony Martial who is himself not such a goalscorer as a winger especially with Wayne Rooney still struggling to hit top form, having only managed just two Premier League goals this season and committing more blunders than befits him.

However, The Sun is also suggesting that the £49 million offer won’t be enough to sign the star striker as Spurs believe that the forward is valued at around £50-60m which is incredibly higher than Manchester City paid Liverpool for Raheem Sterling.

Although the Spurs’ forward has made a rather slow start to the new season, he still has scored four goals in ten Premier League games, with three of those strikes coming against newly-promoted Bournemouth last weekend and United believe they could more from the 22-year-old and he might be on his way back to a fine form.
