Injury Update: Top Journalist Confirms Theo Walcott’s Return Date

Arsenal’s greatest undoing in recent seasons has been the number of injuries sustained by some of their key players. This year is no different but relatively better as most the injuries aren’t long term. The cheering news for the Gunners is that Walcott will return as scheduled as there is no setback, reports the Metro.

Reports emerged that the England international had a set back on his way to recovery but the report has been refuted by James Olley who is a correspondent for the Evening Standard, as reported by Gunnerscity.

He tweeted on his official handle that he had met Walcott in person and allayed fears of any probable set back.

The Gunners striker picked up the injury when Arsenal where knocked out of the Capital One cup by Sheffield Wednesday and left Giroud as the only striker for Arsenal.

Before the international break, Arsenal had up to 10 players sidelined with injuries but up to 30 percent will return after the break and none of the players have had any form of setback.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will be locking horns with West Brom in their next Premier League match. They have been tipped as favourite and they will be looking to maintain their good run of form in the League.
