Deal almost done as club agrees personal terms with high rated star

Manchester United are on the verge of signing Ajax teenager Juan Familia Castillo. The 15 year old sensation has reportedly been in Uniteds radar since last year. United are reported to be impressed with the progress he has made since the first time he was spotted. According to the Daily Mail, United are satisfied with his progress and are ready to bring him to Old Trafford when the opportunity arises. The player who turns 16 next month also plays for the Netherlands U16 and is equally the teams captain.

The talented outfield player is already a regular for the Ajax U17 side. Castillo is a left footed player who can play in the central midfield or on the left wing. He is also adjudged to possessing a keen eye for goal whenever he plays.

Every football club of United’s calibre would be very much pleased to have him in their ranks as United isn’t even willing to throw off the chance. Although signing a 15 year old is never going to delight Manchester United fans, however, no one will complain if the player turns out to be another Messi or Rooney.

It is important to do something in the transfer market to turn around the fortunes of the first team, however, while the club tries to achieve that, it is important not to also forget the importance of building a youth team for the future especially with FFP law ensuring clubs are not going to be allowed to spend how much they want any more.
