Rabiot Moving to Arsenal in Winter

Wenger Arranging £52m Double Swoop for Two Talented Midfielders, Deal May Break the Club Record

Many clubs are now in the market to bolster their squads, and Arsenal are on the same mission bolster their midfield. With the Gunners currently on a stunning form that seems a bit fragile with injuries to key personnel in midfield, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger looks prepared to add new names at the center of the park.

According to our sources, Arsenal are arranging a £52 million bid to sign Adrien Rabiot and Graint Xhaka, where Paris Siant-Germain star Rabiot will cost £15 million while Borussia Monchengladbach’s Xhaka will cost £37 million.

And because the Gunners have given up in signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund and the Premier League title is within their grasp, Wenger has been given the approval to start talks with the duo.

Both Rabiot and Xhaka are rated as two of the best young central midfielders in European football. There both share exciting talents, but different in terms of style.

Rabiot has sharp defensive instincts with great controlling presence while Xhaka has a much more influential presence in midfield, capable of putting in robust tackles, getting across the ground swiftly and carrying the ball from box-box.

With his obvious talent, Xhaka has been identified fit for Premier League because at 23 he has already been handed the club’s captaincy.

Rabiot undoubtedly seems like a more ordinary fit for Arsenal because of his elegant distribution.

At this point in time, Rabiot appears the more gettable of the two because he is currently struggling to get consistent game time for PSG, besides being the type of footballer who will adhere to Wenger’s style of play. Xhaka is currently a vital part of Borussia Monchengladbach as the club continues to push for a spot in the Champions League.
