Lingard New Contract

Man Utd Predicted Lineup Against Liverpool – Marouane Fellaini, Jesse Lingard in the Starting XI, Michael Carrick Out Injured

Man Utd will travel to Anfield to take on their arch-rivals Liverpool on Sunday. This game could have serious repercussions for both clubs. The Times have reported that anything less than three points will be the end of the reign of Louis Van Gaal. A win will also see Jurgen Klopp’s side level on points with the Red Devils.

Both teams are coming on the back off 3-3 draws. Liverpool snatched a point by scoring a last minute equaliser against Arsenal whereas United dropped two points by conceding a late equaliser against Newcastle United

This fixture always makes up for an exciting watch and this one should be no different.

Injury News:

Bastian Schweinsteiger missed the draw with Newcastle due to an ankle injury and he is likely to miss the trip to Anfield too. Phil Jones has a chance of making his comeback from an ankle problem.

Antonio Valencia, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Michael Carrick will all miss out due to respective injuries.

Predicted Line Up: [4-2-3-1]

Goalkeeper:

David De Gea is undoubtedly going to start between the sticks.

Defence:

Van Gaal suggested that Sunday might be too soon for Phil Jones so expect to see the partnership of Chris Smalling and Daley Blind in the centre of defence.

Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian will keep their places as full-backs.

Defence:

Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick are out injured, so Marouane Fellaini will once again partner Morgan Schneiderlin in the midfield.

Ander Herrera will keep his place in the attacking midfield.

Attack:
Jesse Lingard has recently returned from injury so he might way for Juan Mata on the flanks. Anthony Martial will occupy the opposite flank. Wayne Rooney scored a brace in the 3-3 draw with Newcastle so he is nailed on to lead the lines against the Reds on Sunday.

Line Up [4-2-3-1] De Gea, Darmian, Young, Smalling, Blind, Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Mata, Martial, Rooney
