£300,000-A-Week Manchester United Target Agrees To Sign, Four Years Deal Almost Done

The president of the most successful football club in Europe for the immediate past season, Barcelona, has dispelled all the rumours about Neymar moving to Old Trafford this summer and has revealed that the player is part of the club’s future, as reported by Radio Catalunya (via Goal)

The rumours emerged  last week when Neymar’s agent was spotted at Old Trafford watching United’s champions league play off, the rumours was also fuelled because the Red Devils missed out on the signature of their prime transfer target, Pedro Rodriguez, who was a former player of Barcelona.

However, the rumours gathered momentum this week when it was suggested that United would offer a lump sum for the services of the player.

Now, the Club’s president has succeeded in burying the speculations when he said:

We do not want Neymar to leave. He is young and we want him to retire here at our club.

“We will discuss Neymar’s renewal in some months’ time as he must stay here-not only for the next three seasons, but for the next five or ten.” Bartomeu said

This report must serve as disappointing to the Red Devils faithful, following their inability to land other targets.

The Former Santos man was very vital to the club success when he scored 39 goals in 51 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions.

The attacking line of the Red Devils has been unproductive this term following their inability to score goal. They will be lining up in the return leg their champions league play-off tonight against Club Brugge.
