£65,000-a-Week Star Completing Transfer This Week, Agent Confirms the Move
In another transfer related news, Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has been linked with a move to Serie A club AC Milan by Daily Mirror.
The 32-year-old has suffered a disastrous season this year and Serie A club are exploring the possibility to sign the player in January.
The Serbian, who has started all the games under new manager Guus Hiddink, is in the last year of his contract with the Blues and will be a free agent in the summer. A new deal from the London club seems like a distant possibility unless Ivanovic dramatically improves his form this season.
He has also been linked with AC Milan’s local rivals Inter Milan. He joined the Blues from Locomotiv Moscow in 2008 and since then he has won two league titles and one Champions League title with the club. Latest gossip says that player’s agent already sat down with AC Milan representatives and sealed the new contract for his player.
