Almost Done – Arsenal Target Set To Sign After £19m Bid Is Made

Arsenal have been knocked-out, not on the pitch but in the transfer  market by Juventus as the Italian champions are set to up their bid for Arsenal long-term transfer target Julian Draxler. The Turin giants are offering £19m for the German forward.

Juventus have handed Schalke 04 what is termed a final bid in a transfer saga that has been long overdrawn. It is reported that an improved offer will not be made for the world cup schemer upon refusal from the German club.

The Gunners boss Arsene wenger has openly lavished admiration and praise on the 21-year-old player but Arsenal is unlikely to land him as they have in the arsenal players who can play in similar position in the likes of Ramsey, Chamberlain, Walcott and wilshere. Bringing the player to the Emirates might see him playing regularly from the bench.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, they have confirmed that Juventus are the only club interested in Draxlers signature; the Turin outfit are willing to pay him more than his current earning over a five-year contract agreement.

The champions League runner- up, Juventus, are now waiting on schalke to make a decision on the player who is also keen on moving away from Germany.
