Are Chelsea in the market for a new Winger?

With Willian and Pedro both blowing hot and cold so far this season, it will not be a surprise if Chelsea are in the market for a new winger come the summer transfer window. Well two, if Hazard leaves. The odds favour Eden Hazard leaving Chelsea in the summer and we won’t be surprised if it happens. Recent reports have it that Arsenal have made a bid of £26 million for the winger but unless the Gunners move fast Chelsea could be beating them to his signing. The Blues have more money to spend on not only transfer fee but as well as offer a better wage package and this could see Arsenal lose out.

Aside Chelsea and Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham have also been linked with the signing of the Turkey international. We however believe both Manchester United and Liverpool do not need him and considering Tottenham’s financial situation, they may not be able to compete with Arsenal and Chelsea for Under come the summer window.

AS Roma signed the player from Istanbul Basaksehir in 2017 for £12m and should he move in the summer, they will be making a good profit on him. The Giallorossi however do not have to sell if they do not want to. They have managed to tie him down to a long term contract which doesn’t expire until 2022 and there are no reports indicating he has a release clause which means they can’t be forced to sell him.
