Arsenal seal deal for ace striker, Man City want to steal Sanchez in winter

Russian outlet Izvestia has claimed that Arsenal are on the verge of completing a deal for Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin. The Russian international has only six months left on his current and will be available to the Gunners for as low as £4.3m. The Gunners also tried to sign the striker on a loan deal during the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old’s agent has previously confirmed that a move to Emirates Stadium is possible in the future. In October, he said: “Aleksandr, if all well informed, still has a chance [to move in the future] and not just to Arsenal. If Dynamo refused to give Aleksandr to Arsenal in the past transfer window, it does not mean that he can’t be where he wants [in the next window]. We have a very good relationship with the coaching staff and the management of the football club Dinamo Moscow. We have, of course, been notified.”

In an interesting transfer story, Spanish source Fichajes claims that Man City are interested in Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez. According to the report, current Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is set to join City in the summer, and he has instructed the club to bring the Chilean star to Etihad Stadium.

However, it’s highly unlikely that the Gunners would entertain any such approach towards their star player.
