Barcelona to Sign Arsenal’s Key Midfielder for £50-60m after Another Spying Mission in Midweek

According to reports, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is said to be Barcelona’s main target in the summer. It is believed that Barcelona are confident of bringing the 25-year-old Wales star to the Nou Camp after another spying mission in midweek.

Barcelona watched Ramsey in action as the Gunners shared a six-goal thriller with Liverpool at Anfiled and have confidence that they will be able to persuade the Welshman to join countryman Gareth Bale in La Liga next season.

According to a special piece from John Richardson in Daily Express, the Spanish giants are ready to part with a fee in region of between £50 million and £60 million to pursue Ramsey.

Richardson wrote: “Barcelona attempted to land the former Cardiff attacking midfielder last summer only for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to reject their overtures.

“Ramsey is also excited by the chance to play for one of the biggest teams in the world but nothing will be finalized until after next summer’s European Championships in France allowing him to focus on Wales.”

It is also believed that Arsenal won’t stand in Ramsey’s way of a move to Primera Division giants for the opportunity to play alongside Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar next season.
