Chelsea’s attacking duo Diego Costa and Oscar were reportedly involved in training ground bust-up at the club’s training ground in Cobham during Thursday’s training session. The superstars had to be cooled down by their Chelsea team-mates after squaring up to each after a sequence of two hefty tackles during the intense afternoon training session.
It is reported that Costa rattled Oscar with a hefty tackle, and Brazilian midfielder responded with hard-hitting tackle of his own, leading in a training ground bust-up.
The duo were pulled apart before any punches were thrown, and the heated confrontation between them de-escalated quickly as they were asked to resolved their differences at the end of the highly intense training session. Chelsea squad were preparing for Sunday’s FA Cup third cup ties against Scunthorpe United.
Twitter quickly followed with different scenarios.
Chelsea interim gaffer Guus Hiddink is said to be undisturbed about the episode at the club’s Cobham training ground.
Oscar later went on Twitter denying the incident, writing the duo had not had any training ground confrontations.
“For those who are talking to me and @diegocosta struggle today in training he’s lying, he’s one of my best friends and never fight,” he wrote.
