Confirmed – Radamel Falcao Is A Chelsea Player

Ex Manchester United forward Radamel Falcao wants his future sorted out as soon as possible as he hinted that a loan move to Stamford Bridge would well be his next destination.

Falcao, who impressed with both Porto and Atletico Madrid before moving to France, was quizzed about the reports when he spoke to reporters following Colombia’s victory over Brazil at the Copa America in Chile.

“I am just thinking of the Copa America and the squad, my staff are taking care of this.” Falcao said.

Asked if the reports linking him with a loan move to Chelsea were correct, Falcao added: “It can be, you will know soon.”

Thats confirmation of where he will be moving to, I wonder what else is. If Falcao is signed it is also likely to lead to the departure of Loïc Remy, who is wanted by several Premier League clubs including Crystal Palace and West Ham United. Palace would appear to be the favourites to acquire Remy, who has had limited opportunities at Chelsea since being signed from Queens Park Rangers last summer.

A player like Falcao likes to – and deserves to be – the main man in any team. At Manchester United, Falcao was never more than a bit-part player. The second half of the season saw van Gaal utilize the height and power of Marouane Fellaini to unlock opposition defences – and Falcao quickly became surplus to requirements.

The effect that Jose Mourinho has on players under his tutelage cannot be ignored. Whether it’s celebratory hugs with Frank Lampard in the showers or teary farewells in stadium car parks, it’s clear the Special One tends to get the best out of his players.

If there’s one man who can rejuvenate a player’s confidence – it’s Mourinho, and with that in mind Falcao would just be back to his best again under the Guidance of the Special one.
