Done Deal – Arsenal Target Signs, Five Years Deal Done And Dusted

Arsenal have been dealt yet another great blow as their target Stefan Savic just recently signed with Atletico Madrid from Italian club Fiorentina. The 24 year old is reported to have signed a five year contract for a fee that amounts to about 9 million euros with Atletico Madrid’s player Mario Suarez moving the other way as part of the deal. Atletico Madrid’s coach Diego Simeone will be hoping that the Montenegrin footballer can fill the void left by former Atletico Madrid defender Joao Miranda who left earlier in the transfer window to Inter Milan.

24 year old Savic will be looking to continue his impressive run of form in Atletico after an impressive 2014/2015 season with Fiorentina. The 24 year old was key member of the Fiorentina squad that made it to 4th position last season. Stefan Savic is known for his tough mentality and no-nonsense defending, traits that will be welcome in Atletico Madrid. The 24 year old is also a great passer of the ball for a defender and is very difficult to beat in aerial duels winning 65% percent of his aerial duels last season.

Arsenal have yet again missed out on another great talent this summer window after already missing out on the likes of Schneiderlin and Vidal, however Arsene Wenger has been known to pull out miracle signings towards the end of the transfer window. Hopefully for Arsenal fans this summer transfer window will be no different.
