EX Barca Director Confirms Manchester United Could Sign Two Times UCL Winning La Liga Star

Former Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, has recently stated that he believes Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Real Madrid in the next summer transfer window as this is the best time for him to leave according to reports from the Daily Star. Speculation around Ronaldo’s future has continued to rumble in recent weeks, with the tall Portuguese winger being heavily linked with a return to Manchester United – via ESPN – and also a move to the Serie A or the French league with suggestions that the Portugal international could join Paris Saint-Germain, and Laporta believes that the next summer transfer window would be the perfect time for Ronaldo to leave Madrid.

Laporta said, “I am not surprised by all that is happening. I think that Cristiano is at his peak and so these questions should come up. The market is at a very good moment because of all the money that has come into the Premier League and that could attract even more sponsors. He has been in Madrid for a lot of years and maybe he could find a new path. Players seek out the best contracts. The market is in a position to address all these topics and Cristiano is at the right age.”

Real Madrid lost yesterday’s El Classico with a horrible score 0-4 at San Bernabeu.

If the world’s best player decides to move away from Madrid, it will be interesting to see where he goes as he is such a fantastic player who can add a great deal to any team he moves to. It remains to be seen though.
