Arsenal have been trying to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco for a considerable period of time.
The Gunners were again linked with a move for the Spain international last month, but no deal materialized.
Now Tribal Football’s football journalist Emanuele Giulianelli has claimed that Arsenal have a buying option to sign the 23-year old for €45 million in the summer.
He claims that Los Blancos rejected Gunners’ bid for their player this season because they didn’t have a replacement lined up for the player.
He writes: “There wasn’t enough time for the Merengues to find a possible replacement of the same level of Isco in the last week of the transfer window.
But the news is that Arsenal have obtained a buying option on Isco: €45 million is the price established; if Real Madrid doesn’t receive a higher bid for next June he will be sold to Arsenal.”
