Fantastic News – Arsenal to Steal Former Real Madrid Superstar Striker Thanks to FIFA Ban on Galácticos

Arsene Wenger is still pondering over the option to play their newest addition, Mohamed Elneny against Stoke on Sunday. In the press conference held earlier today, Arsene Wenger hinted that they may not sign any more players this transfer window.

‘I would prefer to have the players back from injuries,’ he said according to Telegraph, when asked about further singings.

‘[Danny] Welbeck is two to three weeks away and I am confident I will not find a better player than Welbeck on the market.’

While, Wenger might wait for his injured players to return, there is still hope for more signings as Arsenal are linked with Juventus striker Alvaro Morata. Morata joined Serie A club Juventus from Real Madrid in 2014 but has struggled to make an impression in the league.

Morata has made a total of 17 appearances this season in Serie A, in which he has only started in eight games. He has scored only a single goal and made two assists.

Despite, Giroud being in fine form this season, there is need for improvement in the striking department as Arsenal continue their campaign to win the title this season.

Madrid has a buy-out option of £26million and they have been reported to be willing to use that option. However, given the transfer ban on Madrid and their in-process appeal to lift the ban, the Spanish club might not be able to get their player back.

Arsene Wenger was interested to bring the player to the Premier League, in 2014, but no agreement could be reached with Madrid. Hence, the Frenchman may now find this the perfect opportunity to sign the striker.

Arsenal still has Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck, and Jack Wilshere unavailable due to injuries. Although Sanchez has a 60% chance of making a comeback on Sunday but he is still doubtful.
Welbeck and Wilshere won’t be available until February. Considering the window is still open, and there are options available, Wenger should spend on a decent striker.
