Loic Remy Leaving Chelsea

French striker leaving Chelsea in January, desperate Mourinho loses confidence in dressing room

French source Le 10 Sport are reporting that Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille are interested in signing Chelsea striker Loic Remy. According to the report, Lille’s manager Frederic Antonetti is looking to bolster his attacking options in the January transfer window.

He has identified Remy as his target, along with Newcastle United’s duo Emmanuel Riviere and Yoan Gouffran. The France international has only played as a backup to Diego Costa since his arrival at Stamford Bridge last season. Remy, however scored only goal in the last 1-2 loss against Leicester City.

The 28-year old has started only one game for the Blues this season and would be interested in a move if he is promised regular playing time ahead of the Euro Cup in summer.

He has previously played in Ligue 1 for the likes of OGC Nice, Marseille, Lyon and Lens.
