Great News - Arsenal Set To Complete Second Summer Signing

The Emirate giants are front runners for the signature of the Italy under 21 international centre back Allessio Romagnoli. This is as reported by the Daily Express.

The Roma defender has equally drawn interest from Ac Milan and Chelsea after his eye catching performances for club. According to the Metro, Romagnoli may be moving to North London after negotiations with Ac Milan failed to pull through.

The 20-year-old Italy international has been dubbed one of the best young defenders in the Italian Seria A. Should Arsenal secure he services, he will eventually become a long term replace for the aging Per Mertesacker who will be 31-years in the September of this year.

Romagnoli had earlier stated that he would fancy a move to the Milan Giants because he wants to remain in Italy but the Express are very confident that Arsenal will land the centre back.
