Hazard Confirms He Could Leave Chelsea But Not To PSG

The constant speculations linking Chelsea’s Eden Hazard away from the club will look to die down now that the player has come out to state again his initial claims that he is not ready to leave Chelsea, not anytime soon.

Hazard has been constantly linked to French giant Paris Saint-Germain ever since he seemed to question Mourinho’s tactics in the Uefa champions league quarter final first leg against PSG.

Every week there are always speculations of Hazard returning to Ligue 1, this time to Pac de Prince in the French capital. Hazard has always dismissed those rumours and again this week he has to defend his commitment to Jose Mourinho’s side.

A Belgian journalist was quoted as having Hazard saying during an interview;

Ive always been clear – I feel good at Chelsea. Every week I repeat the same on PSG. It’s a big team, but an inferior league. I don’t want to return to France, because I’ve won everything over there- the league title, cup, best player, best young player.

I don’t want to say PSG is a step backwards, but It would be returning to something I already know. I’m always in for new challenges. When I will leave Chelsea one day, it would be to discover something new.

Hazard has truly made it clear this time on his stands on this whole PSG thing and that should be clear enough to PSG that the player isn’t in any way interested in returning to Ligue 1 let alone their club. He has however not ruled out the possibility of leaving Chelsea in the future which is sad. It means should Madrid, Barca or even Bayern Munich comes in for him, he is likely to leave should the offer be right.

But for now, he is simply enjoying his life at Chelsea where he has the opportunity to learn new things. As he rightly said, he has no new thing to learn again in France. He has won all there it is to win as a young player and at just 23 will be motivated by the idea to learn something new even in his quest to become one of the best in the world.

Under the tutelage of one of the best manager around he will have a great deal to learn from Jose Mourinho. He has started to develop other sides of his game to make him a well rounded player. We have seen him helping the team in other areas aside just attacking which was not what he was used to when he joined Chelsea two seasons ago.

In the new campaign, he has had a very bright start to the season. His performance has been consistent through the matches played so far and the player himself acknowledged this must have been his best start to a season.

He said  It all goes well for me at Chelsea. Maybe this has been the best start in my career so far, although it isn’t reflected in the stats. I have played only one bad game – against Aston Villa. I’ve taken a good rest during my holiday, I had a short, but good pre-season and I feel really well.

The player also spoke about his relationship with Jose Mourinho.

“Jose Mourinho and I get along well. I’ve lots of respect for him. He gives me a lot of confidence. After a bad game he dares to say we have played with 10

today, but that’s it. At moments like

that he leaves me alone. The image I had of him, before he came, is still the same I have now – he’s a big manager, who’s won everything, who shares his experience and is close to his players. He defends us all the time.

It is evident the Chelsea player of the year and Players’ player of the year is really enjoying himself at the club especially with the opportunity to learn under a great manager. And hope this will bring an end to the persistent PSG link.
