Juventus’ Arturo Vidal Off To Arsenal

Recently several big names have been linked to Arsenal. Hard as it may be to believe that Arsenal under Wenger would be interested in splashing BIG or buying BIG, his recent acquisitions in Mesut Oezil, Alexis Sanchez and more recently Petr Cech puts paid to that theory.

Arsenal fans now hunger for a marquee signing to aid their quest for the premiership title. The belief is that having won the FA cup back to back, they’re a few big names short of the title.

Having prised Petr Cech off the hands of bitter rivals Chelsea, the spirits are high at the Emirates and have set their sights on another hard target.

Arsenal are believed to arranging a €30 million (£21.3m) bid for Juventus’ midfielder Arturo Vidal. The Chilean may not be averse to hooking up with his country man Alexis Sanchez. Clearly Vidal is one of the best in his position and with Juventus willing to sell has attracted interest not just from Arsenal, but also Manchester United. However, north London seems to be his preferred berth.

Another player in the Gunners sight is Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam and Arsenal are believed to be preparing a €15.5 million (£11m) bid. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been linked with Gunners with willing to splash out €40 million to get his man. However, Borussia Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc has dismissed the claims.

Chelsea midfielder Charly Musonda is also believed to be near finalizing on a loan deal with Marseille beating off interest from Arsenal, who reportedly bid £8.5 million for his services.
